Does anyone know where to get one of these in Europe?
https://www.onlybatteries.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=13245
I have found a US retailer, but the total incl. shipping and hazmat charge would be $180. For one freakin' battery.
Any help would be appreciated.

This should be what your looking for. Shipping from Finland.
https://www.batteributik.se/product/3691/batteripack-74v--650mah-li-ion-cr14430
This battery pack is wired but without the connectors.

Fantastic. Thanks a lot!

my TB seems to be working fine but at some point of course will not.
Is this the battery recommended/used by Naiant or just one you were going to use?
How does it attach inside? I have no tools/skills
Thanks

I got the link from Jon.
In addition to the battery pack you need a connector and two pins (Molex #22-01-3027, pins #08-50-0114). Jon will service your tinybox, if you don't want to do it yourself. However, he will not replace lithium-ion batteries due to shipping regulations. Instead, he will convert tinyboxes to run on a NiMH battery pack. See here:

I went to my local batteries plus. Removed the original battery from the tb (it has a hardwired connection to the battery on a short piece of cable with a small metal pin connector on the other end), dropped the batt/hardwired cable at batteries plus and a few days later they had the new battery done with the original connector reattached to the batt. $15 out the door.
It was a fairly tight squeeze getting the battery back in the tb. But all in all, real easy.

The li-ion battery in my tinybox ran out of life at a show last week. It was my first show since corona started... I am not sure if the 3 month break had anything to do with it. Going through some old emails, I realized the last time I switched the battery was i 2016, so I guess I should have known. I will switch to the extra battery I have from 2016 and see if that is still good. It looks as if batteryspace.com is out of stock, but hopefully they will get it back, if not I guess I'll try https://www.onlybatteries.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=13245 (https://www.onlybatteries.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=13245)
For reference, the battery that died was the kind Naiant provided originally (https://www.batteryspace.com/li-ion1443074v600mah444whbatterymodulesidebysidewithprotectioniclc14430s2r1wr.aspx (https://www.batteryspace.com/li-ion1443074v600mah444whbatterymodulesidebysidewithprotectioniclc14430s2r1wr.aspx)). I used the tinybox maybe on average 2-3 shows per month for 4 years before it died, charging it to full before every show.

If your extra battery hasn’t ever been cycled it probably has quite a bit of life in it even if it’s not 100%. I know that there are li-ion batteries available but getting them shipped to you in Europe may prove challenging

I am currently testing the extra and previously unused lithium-ion battery from 2016 in the tinybox 1.5. I gave it a full charge, and it is still running nicely after around 15 hours straight...
Edit: It finally gave in after approx 40 hours... pretty impressive...

I just switched the battery in my NiMH-based tinybox 2.5 to an unused battery that I got from Naiant in 2017. A similar test like the one above gave 10 hours and 45 minutes.

I broke a connector while trying to pry it apart and desolder it. Does anyone know what size JST connector these are in the Tinybox?
Nevermind, you can just tuck the wires in the clip.

All kinds of pictures and drawings linked from here:

Better bust out a metric 150mm pocket scale. ;)

Per an email from Jon, Digikey Part numbers:
WM18799-ND (molex connector)
WM2613-ND (molex connector)
WM1114CT-ND (pin)

Molex & JST are competing entities
Word from the source is best, you've got it well covered

Jon's website https://naiant.com/custom_audio_reproduction_equipment/product_spec/tinybox-specification (https://naiant.com/custom_audio_reproduction_equipment/product_spec/tinybox-specification)
indicates this Li-ion battery pack as a recommended replacement: https://www.batteryspace.com/li-ion1443074v600mah444whbatterymodulesidebysidewithprotectioniclc14430s2r1wr.aspx (https://www.batteryspace.com/li-ion1443074v600mah444whbatterymodulesidebysidewithprotectioniclc14430s2r1wr.aspx)
Are people buying it as the "open end wire" option and then terminating it themselves (using the Digikey parts linked above)? Or will one of the two listed JST options work? Thanks.

I re-terminated mine. I thought that I did something wrong as I would not charge the Tinybox but my charger just died. I just got mine back from Jon today and this is the replacement charger that he recommends with the 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector. (Currently Out of Stock)

I soldered the end onto a new connector for the guy I just sold my tiny box v1 to.
Can someone please through a voltmeter onto their charger and confirm + center and - outer with 8.39v across the two?
