Topic: Help Needed: Audio mixing and mastering (Paid)

I am an independant videogragher based in Los Angeles,  I work primarily with local and up and coming Bands needing Live video. 

I need someone Experienced, affordable and quick who can work with the audio

Typically you would be getting a stereo 'house feed' soundboard recording and room mic's to mix together.
I have also started isolating and recording(when possible) vocals and guitars.

Each situation is a little different.  I shoot everything from Teen Pop to Thrash Metal.  So you have to be willing to work with all genre's of music.

This week I shot a Folk singer songwriter, 6 piece band

6 Cameras
4 soundboard tracks:
Vocals (3 people), Guitars (3 guitars), Bass, Drums( 1 overheard mic)

Show was 42 minutes long

I am needing someone who can work with this and mix and master quickly. All the artist I work with do not have large budgets so you have to be willing to work for reasonable compensation.

This artist is willing to pay $100 if we use your mix.  Once you show your capable you will get work on a direct pay basis.

I may be able to help you out as i have some free time currently. I do encourage you to use room mics into a dedicated audio recorder as using camcorder audio is never going to give a decent source to work with.

I have 3 tascam recorders and 2 sets of room mics. In acoustic settings or where levels are not real high my cameras out perform the Church audio mic's I have.  Besides the artist main audio goal was capturing the crowd,  initially she wanted to use the camera audio only, i had to convince her to use the soundboard sources.   Thats how good the mic's in my cameras are

since everything I do has soundboard audio room sound used as atmosphere in a matrix.

I run my CA14's about 90% of the time

I'm under the impression that you probably want a copy of whatever audio was recording onto a video, whether it's good or bad.  Assuming all these cameras/recorders weren't clock synced live, you would pick one "master camera" that becomes that "master clock" against which all the audio must be synced.  You either (a) start off by stretching/shrinking all your other audio sources to that, or (b) shrink/stretch the final audio mix to match it.  Either way, your finished audio can be reimported with that video and it should be synced.  Having lip movements out of sync with the audio is no good.

Yes exactly.I usually use my good seperate audio as the "master source" and sync all other audio and video to it.Wheter stretching or splitting....whatever it takes.

You have misread or misunderstood my initial post, there are no synch or timing issues.  I am seeking mixing and mastering. 

Also so everyone knows,  I now have 3 guys who are working on this and I think that will be enough
