So I recently made myself a right angle S/PDIF cable to come out of my V3. previously, I was using a right-angle XLR for the AES out and using a transformer, but I decided I wanted to have the option to use either digi out with a right angle.
so anyway, I thought it would be a lot harder to solder these connections, so I bought several extra connectors. now I have extra right-angle RCA's and extra cable, so if anyone wants one, I can make them for you cheap, and custom length.
here are the details.
the right angle connector is the:
Switchcraft SW3502RAAU
"Right Angle RCA, Nickel & Gold"
that's nickel housing and gold connections.
the cable is a hacked-up rat-shack S/PDIF cable. a nice thick orange cable. It was originally 12' long. now only 11', because of my new cable
works like a charm. you choose how long you want it, I have 11' for 3 cables, so that should be plenty. keep the requests on cable length within reason, say 1 to 3 feet.
so I have enough connectors to make 2 right-angle to right angle connectors, and 1 right angle to straight RCA connector. The right-angle to straight RCA connector would use the straight RCA connector that came attached to the rat-shack cable.
so email me if you're interested. I'm not trying to make any money off of this, just trying to get rid of the extra RCA connectors lying around, and help someone out at the same time. I'd charge you for the price of the right-angle connectors (I paid $3.79 each), 4 or 5 bucks for the S/PDIF cable, and shipping, and then I round up to the next dollar for my time involved. so we're talking around $15 shipped to you, which I think it reasonable. that's for the right-angle to right-angle cable. the 1 right-angle to straight RCA cable is less, because it's only one connector and less of my time. say $12 for that cable.

thanks for the space.
