looking for PVR or DVR software
« on: January 12, 2005, 02:25:43 PM »
hey all,

i got a leadtek winfast tv 2000 xp tv tuner card for my pc and the pvr/dvr software app that came with it causes windows to BSOD and i have to reimage my pc if i install it. i have tried the newest version and it still causes major system issues.

i have dl'd trial versions of cyberlink's power vcr 3 but cant get sound and i have also dl'd a trial version of intervideo's WinDVR3 but i really havent decided if i like or if it functions that good.

any advice or info or help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
jonathan

well, i found out the problem is that it conflicts with my promise ultra100tx2 controller card, so since i also have usb2.0 and nic addon cards, i might as well just update my mobo.

Gotta ditch windows for it, though.  Definitely the best solution out there. ;)
