me like too ;D

eh.
looks cheap.
::)

as long it is free of ultra-jitter ;) it MUST be good!
-
do the korg recording units, or any of the sacd players, output dsd via coax or optical..?
-
nope
-
Ok, but the Accuphase does have a "HS Link" input for DSD (SACD), which clearly works with their own (and potentially others) transport(s).

probably some proprietary type firewire ?
Yamaha high end receivers have this.
but even still....moot.
can't get your DSD masters played. You need the Tascam rack mount SACD recorder w/the hard drive upgrade to have a juke box.
or..., probably cheaper to just get an MR1000 and have it MOD'd for high-end playback via its RCA output.

Does Accuphase make anything that isn't absolutely gorgeous?

apparently so ;)

my friend's father has a system of accuphase tuner and accuphase cd player, with krell preamp and krell class A power amps, powering a set of wilson watt puppies
the accuphase stuff is probably 20 years old, but damn it still sounds sick
-
good audio gear just gets better with age :)
-
not sure if i mentioned that (or this before)
but they have a mcintosh amp and preamp just sitting in storage above the garage. that's just not right
-
you should ask to give it a good home.
-
trust me, i have. my friend's older brother claims he's going to use it, but has yet to even move it

Tell him he can use it anytime he comes over to your house!
