Title: Need to power up my Boundary mic, what should I get?
Post by: Kimchoc on July 09, 2010, 10:55:59 AM
I bought a couple AT871R boundary's and need to get some type of cheap battery powered box to use them with my digital recorder. The spec sheet says 9*52v DC, 2mA typical for phantom power requirements.

My use is narrow and specific. Table top recording. I have a NADY DMP-2 which works fine but is a bit large. Do you guys recco anything smaller? Looking at under the current Nady price of $59.00. No need to spend more as I could just live with the NADY.

With basic electronic soldering skills and ability to look at a picture and follow directions, could I build something?

Thanks,
