Final coats. I'm not sure if this comes across in the pictures but this is the last coat of paste wax I will apply. I did around 20 coats of hand buffed, paste wax finishing. I'm happy.

I'd be happy too; she looks dynamite!  Definitely a noticeable difference with the additional coats of wax.

My Dynamat and spikes came in today, so I applied the dynamat. Only one thing left is for the acrylic to get in and then to fabricate the bottom and arm boards. i think I should have it done by the end of the week, if the acrylic gets in tomorrow.

Ray / Or Others

Would you recommend paste wax for speaker cabinets ? if not what would you use to keep wood speaker cabinets looking sharp.

Good decision on keeping the wood finish. Beautiful.

Just received the call that all pieces are cut and ready to go. I think you guys are going to really like the outcome, when all is said and done. I'm still searching for a cartridge. I'm not sure yet what I will grab. I wish I didn't sell my Adcom Soundsmith!

Arm board installed, as well as new spikes. Bottom will be put on this weekend and new mat will be in by mid week. Still trying to settle on a cartridge......thoughts anyone. I do want a high output MM, which will better match my second phono stage in my AI M3A.
