Missing Album Artwork
« on: April 17, 2025, 09:52:11 PM »
So, this has something to do with audio playback.  On a few albums the artwork is missing for the album cover but not the individual songs inside the album.  I tried using Xact to reload the album artwork unto the whole album but still nothing for the album cover.  This isn’t unique to my current DAP, but for now I’m using a A&K SE200.  The album is a live recording from SCI in Montana 2016.  It was a purchase from nugs after we got home from a five show run.  The other albums display just fine.

There are several other albums I use XLD to convert CDs to flac that have this same issue.

Maybe 99% of my albums are ok.

Any help would be great.   Fwiw, the music plays back fine for those affected albums.
A lot of people run a race to see who is the fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

how does a cover tag work?
I know I can tag individual songs with whatever image I want, or none at all...

Is it that a cover.jpg must be present in the folder?

Try mp3tag.  Excellent free software for this sort of thing.  It's very powerful, and despite the name works on more than just mp3s.
