a good buy for $100 shipped? why wouldnt i want this?

fwiw, i only have a 37" 720p tv, and our dvd player is a $35 walmart special, i know i can do better than that, but wonder if a $!50 oppo would best this unit.
99% of the time will be cds and reg. dvds

That looks like a pretty good deal to me for $100 shipped...... I have an older Pioneer DV-333 and love it.... I would expect this to be a pretty nice unit, and I paid $300 for my 333 back in the day with no DVD-A or SACD capability.
I think this could also me used as a DAC if needed, I noticed the specs say it has an SPDF input.

I have the Pioneer DV-46A and it is fantastic - I would jump right on this. If I had some cash I would pick one up for the bedroom rig...
