gear bag recomendations
« on: March 21, 2023, 12:46:08 PM »
I'm looking for a gear bag that can hold a cube basically. Size is 8x8x8 ( little smaller but lets round up) Does not need to be exactly that size.

All weather preferred and a shoulder strap would be nice it's only going to be a battery bag . Not stuck on lowepro/portabrace, I just have both and like them.

 I figured the lowepro 180/200 would be large enough but it doesn't look like that from the sites dimensions on it.
180 = 10.04 x 5.91 x 7.68 in
200 = 13.58 x 7.28 x 7.87 in
Anyone that own the 180/200 whats the true dimensions that can be stuffed into these bags?
Either one of these would probably work if they act like my magnum. Just hate to order one and need to return if it doesn't work out.
Or if you have a battery bag/case what are you using to keep it dry?

My buddy hauls all his cables and whatnot to his FOH mixing gigs in one of these. Nice for the price.

nice that is about what I'm looking for. - Thank you for the tip.
I'll admit I didn't look at anything else besides the 2 brands I mentioned. They've just treated me so well over the years and still do.

in this day and age i would recommend a 12x12x12 clear stadium bag. if you can figure out how to set it up to your liking you will be golden no matter where you decide to roll

.02$ etc

Good to know, Ill keep an eye to avoid those places. Just not worth the hassle to me anymore. I get in or I don't. I don't like the public anyway.
