That's very kind, but this is a very low-priority "project"--more idle curiosity than anything else--so I would prefer to wait, and then maybe by the time the mikes are available again I won't even be so interested any more. That would be ideal in a certain sense.

i know what they're trying to say, but that is a very awkward sentence.  it makes my head hurt when i read it.   :o
