Anyone using Miktek C5s for live taping? I've been a studio guy most of my life and always wanted my own two track taping rig but was always blowing my money on other studio gear instead
I've got a pair of these and I love them for close miking acoustic sources but what kind of results are any of you guys getting in a live setting? I figure most of my taping will be outdoor festival type stuff so I'm not too worried about room reflections and such. I just want good, clear, detailed, high headroom, low noise sound and I feel like these might just be the ticket (that and I already own them so I don't have to shell out anything extra for mics in a new rig!).
