JB3 for running sequences/clicks for live sound....

(1/1)

jbradley:
i'm thinking of trying a JB3 to play our sequences/click tracks for our live shows.  currently i haul around a Korg Triton Keyboard, stand and Zip drive and being the drummer, i gots enough shit to haul around.  would anyone have any suggestions, warnings or other info?

my second question is that i'm interested mostly in the fact that it has 2 outputs and i would basically be sending a signal that would have sequences on the left side and clicks on the right.  can the two outputs be split to L/R outs?  i know they mention the 3d surround feature but i didn't know if it just takes a stereo signal and sends the L->back and R->front or something like that.

last and final question, what stores carry this and what do they run?

thanks,
jeff bradley

caymanreview:
jb3 isnt being made anymore, and you probably wont find them in any stores. you can get them refurbished straight from creative on ebay for 179

sorry im no help on the other part

jbradley:
how do i access creative's refurbished products?

caymanreview:
just search ebay for nomad jukebox 3,a nd more than likely you will pull up some they have, and it will say direct from creative and refurbished or something

they are like buy it now for 179, and ive seen them have a few regular auctions with the same product, just no buy it now

i think they even give you like a 30 day warranty when you buy thier refurbs

caymanreview:
err, they dont ahve any on right now. just keep checking

but there seems to be one person with a ton of them, but that 30 day warranty is prob worth it, since these are no longer worked on by creative since they are out of production

i just got me another jb3 after using one awhile in the past, i really like them and have finally come back home ;)
