Topic: Experience Recording a Business Meeting?

All,

Today at work I was presented with the problem of recording a meeting function with about 25 people in a 35' x 25' meeting room.  The tables would probably form a U shape.  Basically they are just interested in recording the whole meeting for playback later.  This leads to a couple of questions:

1. What would this service be called professionally?  I ask because obviously the best way to do this would be to hire a professional service.  Outsourcing never hurts.

2. What sort of gear might we need to use if we purchased a solution ourselves?

Since I'm unemployed, I go to a lot of focus groups.
what they do is have mics all over the room up on the ceiling but that may be too permenant a solution.
since these are specific room for recording people.
Some of these room are pretty elaborate, multiple cameras, mics everywhere and stadium like seating for the people behind the one way glass.

I'm clueless on the topic, but something like this placed in the center of the room might work....for the price, it's sure worth a try

Pressure Zone (PZM's) microphones 3-4 of them on the table. This is the best, cheapest way to do it. I work for a conferencing company

My sound company does this sort of thing all the time. We have 20 Crown PZM mics and 5 four channel Shure automixers with the link cables. Set the mixers to auto mode and let the mixers do their thing. It works great, and you hardly need to touch a thing once it's rolling.
