yup, my buddy told me to borrow his rig before I plunked down the money to make sure I would like it.  Needless to say I was hooked

IMO it sounds pretty damn good - I'm stoked, this little mic means business. I just wish it worked with a stand because I got quite a bit of crowd chatter and loud hoots & hollers - but otherwise - great!

Yeah! Eric (mumboulin) gave it to me for Xmas. I didn't know what to expect, tried it out last night and yeah - Not Bad at all! Plugs right into my iRiver.

Well if I can, I'm gonna put this taxi show on cotapers but now I need to learn the next steps... tracking/flac-ing/etc.

You could easily rig something out of a piece of aluminum stock from Home Depot. Maybe a "tab", made from a piece of 1.5" wide x 1/8" thick x ?? inches long. Drill it at one end, so that you could mount it to a clamp. Paint it black. Cover it in adhesive backed velcro, and have a matching velcro strap, to hold down the clip foot. Quick, simple, and a lot less messy than duct tape.

Too much trouble, Moke.  You should have suggested to just go buy a Members Only jacket.
