Would something like this work okay with church audio cards for low pro hat or shirt collar mounting?

I'd be interested in what you find, as I ordered mine without also.

Hi Guys my mics are 12mm in diameter, or 0.47 in inches.. Any lav clip designed to handle mics of that size would and should work ok with my mics.. Just remember to ask why the inside diameter of the clip is I am pretty sure these will work because they work with AT853 mics and mine are a bit smaller then the 853.. I wish I could be of more help.. I never got into the whole clip thing because they are expensive and it would have driven the price of my product up by almost $40.00 not to mention the fact that I would need to tie up $$$ in inventory to stock them. I am just not big enough to do that. So I make the alligator clip as an option.

Yes that's my mics.. When you order them with clips they come with alligator clips that can not be removed. They are built into the mic. Some people do not want permanent clips so they order them with out clips. So that's why the mics they own don't have clips. Its not because I forgot :)

Yes,  some of us would rather have a removable option, which he doesn't offer.  So here we are, exploring options.  Now that we're all caught up, has anyone looked at any of the Shure lav clips?

I'll have my CA cards in soon and I have the AT clips in question.  I'll pair 'em up when I can and let everyone know.

I have the shure clips that come on the MM-HLSC1, very nice mics and the clips are nice and have good range but in a stealth invironment still can be limiting.

Those are the "Shure rotating clips" available at soundpros and elsewhere.  I've got two pairs of those :).

I actually prefer the Church clips.  They are very small, epoxied to the side of the mic.  I've had good luck with these, quite a bit smaller than the Shure or AT clips.

Richard and everyone else, Thanks for your input. I've been thinking of getting the C-A STC-9000 mic's, which seem to have the same clips(Is that correct, Chris?). I was curious what you prefer to attach the attached clips to? Do they work well exposed on the side of a ballcap(I'm thinking near the ear)? Or attached to the bill of the cap (if they can be angled correctly)? I would think they are too awkward/noticeable hanging down from eyeglasses. I would prefer them up around my head, rather than on a shirt collar.

What I have been using for awhile now is Oade Bros Micro Mic's, which I tape to my eyeglasses. I have a sony d100 which was modded by the oades for these mic's. I also have an un-modded sony sbm-1. Using the STC-9000 mic pre-amp box, would it make sense to use a Y cable from the pre-amp into the L/R line input rca jacks of the sbm-1, or just go directly into my d100 dat? Thanks folks

This clip should do the trick:

I think I'm gonna order a pair when I get my next paycheck.  I need a SP-SPSB-9, too.
