2nd the thanks for that info...

I really really need and extra cable or two in the bag in case one fails....

Tim:

I thought you were selling yours.  Musta decided to keep 'em huh?

BTW, I think the part number is just for the female half of the connector.  Can you get the male half of this connector also?  If so, does anybody have a part no. for that?  I'd like to try something out if I can get my hands on an extra set of these...both male and female halves.

Tanks

Steve

The hard part with these is actually finding someone who stocks them and will sell less than a large quantity.

I contacted Lemo and they told me I had to go through a distributor and so far I have had no luck getting them.

Id buy 4 even though I only need two. I would also buy a couple of female counterparts as well if it went that way.

Joe, where did you get your parts from? which cable brand and diameter did you use?
Thanks for all the input guys.  Round of T's :)

Sorry for the slow reply. I didn't build the cables yet.  I got as far as doing the research to identify the correct part # and a source  but I haven't ordered yet.  I was still trying to decide on the type of cable which would determine the connector size.

I did find a place to order these from.  I'll find the phone number and post it.

i can fix these cables - in the past, i have repaired many mk46 cables and never had to replace a Lemo connector due to failure of the contacts. i have seen them damaged from unintended abuse, but traditionally the cause of failure in the mk46 has been the triaxial cable AKG used.

yes I just bought em....I was using then on the stage lip for a 4 ch for the band I do FOH for.
They were hidden in some garland (it was a holiday party for a diamond merchant) and at some point somone wrapped the garland aroung their neck for some drunk dancing and the ck1Xs were on the floor.
Somebody crunched one of the lemos, but not the caps.

Neil...I sent you a pm about fixing my MK46 cables. I'm not sure I can even get my soldering iron in these little things.
