Track marking on PC's
« on: November 12, 2007, 04:20:08 PM »
Can anyone recommend an easy to use program for making track ID's on wav files on my PC recorded using my Edirol R-09?  As of now, I'm still old school and go to a standalone CD burner.

Thanks.

If you go with CD-Wave, you'll want to get it directly from the CD-Wave webpage, as the etree page is out of date.  Please note that CD-Wave is shareware, not freeware.  You're required to purchase a license if you use it beyond the 31-day trial period, though the software will not cripple itself if you do not.  If all you want to do is track, it's a great program, and cheap at only $15 for a license.

You could also track using whichever audio editor you prefer:  Audacity (free), Samplitude SE ($50), WaveLab ($$$), SoundForge ($$$), Adobe Audition ($$$), etc.
