Title: Made in Japan DL DVDR?
Post by: thejamgrasspimp on May 16, 2008, 11:55:02 AM
Does anyone know a good place online to purchase double layer DVDR's?  I have checked musician's friend and B & H and cannot find any.  I would try Cascade, but the last time I tried to order through them they tried to charge me like 200.00 shipping for a 20.00 pack of discs so I've lost all faith in their website.  Anyone?

the best DL-DVDs are the verbatims.  media code MKM-003.  They are made in Singapore.  The MKM001 used to be good till they moved production to India.

Thanks for the response.  I'm really hesitant to use anything not made in Japan though.  What exactly about Verb makes you trust them?  Just curious.  I'd prefer Taio Yuden or Panasonic, both made in Japan, both excellent quality but I cannot find any dealer who has these brands for DL.
