Title: DPA MPS 60x0 "Beltpack" style power supplies for DPA 406xs
Post by: faninor on April 06, 2011, 01:17:30 PM
Just an FYI to other DPA users -- I've just been informed that DPA's MPS 6030 are no longer produced with a belt clip even though the sticker on the box describes it as a "belt pack."

I presume this applies to the similar power supplies with different style outputs. I don't know if this applies to the MMA6000 as well.

Interesting. Could it have been old stock? I bought a 6030 in February through B&H and received it without a belt clip or microdot tightening tool. I've been working with their customer support for the past month, trying to get the missing belt clip (and tightening tool) issue resolved and yesterday someone at DPA told B&H that it's no longer manufactured with a clip (or else someone at B&H was too lazy to check and is making up stories).

It could have been old stock. I ordered it from B&H and it got shipped from Denmark to DPA in Colorado then drop shipped to me. Mine did not have a tightening tool either.
