Hey, the guy that I have been taping has a USB mixer, and we were thinking about hooking it up to my laptop, and then plug into the SBD... is that possible? If that is possible, can I use Soundforge 7.0 to record with?

I am pretty sure that Soundforge can recorgnize external devices for input/output via USB. Make sure you have the drivers installed on your computer and you should be all set.
