B&K CS-115 Preamp?
« on: January 31, 2005, 10:47:19 PM »
Anyone familiar with the sound of this thing? There's one pretty cheap over at audiogon. My mid eighties Yamaha CX 800u  crapped out on me and I need something in the interim whille I have it repaired.

I've actually got a pretty cheap tube pre that I just had the tubes replaced on (not user servicable) that I'd love to sell you.  No original box or manual (it doesn't have a remote, doesn't even come with one).  I can give you the details on it when I get home.  I'd probably be looking for about 300 for it.

Mmmmmmm tubes. Possibly worth considering. Shoot me a PM letting me know how many ins and outs when you get back.

Mmmmmmm tubes. Possibly worth considering.

3 weeks into it and I can't imagine owning a solid state amp again... I know a few other folks who feel the same way.
I’ve had a few weird experiences and a few close brushes with total weirdness of one sort or another, but nothing that’s really freaked me out or made me feel too awful about it. - Jerry Garcia
