Hey fellas.....here are some specs on mics I currently have.....1 large/1 small diaphragm....can I do XY with these or will the 2 different types of mics make for a bad recording in that setup? Is there a technique for recording with large/small combos, or is the technique to get some new mics? Im hunting around for a decent pair of starters, but wanted to get opinions from the pros on these specs....I would rather wait to get a better pair of mics if these will produce a poor recording than ruin a recording of a good show trying to use these.....they tested ok with my home stereo cranked up, not sure what the spl level was....seemed like I had to turn up the gain a fair amount on the AD20......any thoughts would make my day
