I built a pair of 25' mic cables using that Canare low-profile starquad. I just used the smaller version to save on space since I was making a somewhat long set. I like them alot, but I wouldn't call them very stealthy. By my quick measurements, the L4E5C is about 3/16" or 0.1875" in diameter.
I also built a pair of truly stealth cables out of the smallest balanced cable Mogami makes. Based on my quick look at markertek.com, I'd say it was the Mogami 2490, 2 Conductors plus ground, .067" outer diameter, 32 AWG (not positive, but I think this is it). This cable is smaller than my km140 active cables, about the same as walkman-style headphones.
And yes, Tim is right, I built the mic side with just the inner core of the Neutrik connector and used shrink wrap to save space. I considered selling them once a few months back. So if you check through the Yard Sale, you can find a picture of the cables I made.
