Resampling 48>44????
« on: February 08, 2004, 07:51:39 PM »
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer. ;D

I need to resample a show on my computer from 48 to 44 so that I can burn the show to CD.

I've been going through all the "ask the taper" pages, and have come across some info, but not enough info.

I see that Soundforge or Samplitude seems to be the program of choice to resample.  However, I've only got one show that I need to resample, so I'm not looking to go spend $150 for a program to do this.

Does anyone know of any "easy" ways to do this resampling?

Again, thanks for any help.

do you have broadband?  If so i recommend doing what everyone seems to do and go on kazaa and download it.  I believe you can use CDWAVE to resample but i dont know how could that is.

http://www.voxengo.com/r8brain/  <-- theres a free program to do it.  if you would like a program like soundforge you might want to check out suprnova.org - you might find somehting on bit torrent.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
