eco charge 6V using phantom power...

with a p1.  how long should I get?  I get over 3 without phantom power on.

with my bp-50 I get about 6 hours if the incomming signal is digital.  If you are using the P1's A/D it will be less than that.

when i run digi in to the p-1, w/ my bp-50's i get 9 hrs easily, test it, i bet ya get the same, but w/phantom on and all that jazz, i havent a clue

I see you're running 480s so:


The best draw I could find for the dap1 = 1000mAh

draw for the 480s = 4mAh/pair


6 volts x 1 amp = 6watts

48 volts (phantom) x .004amp = .192 watts

6.192 watts / 6 volts = 1.032 amps

This is probably closer to 1.5 amps considering conversion efficiency.


The short version........you need 1.5 Amps per hour via 6 volts to run the p1/480 combo.
