Topic: UA-5 clarification's

I just bought one online and am also looking at a lappy to go with it,
but im confused as to if I will need to build a BATT pack for it or will it run on USB power?

And should I digi mod it , Do I really need to if using it with a lappy?

what kinda setting's should I use on the UA-5? gain and so forth.

Or if there is a link for this, I somehow Missed it in my search.

theres a huge thread in the archive section about the ua-5
-you will need a battery pack, no lappy power draw
-no need for digimod if using exclusively with laptop(im in the same boat)
-i heard that stock ua-5's or digi mods shouldnt be cranked to far past 3 oclock as it starts to get noisy
-everything else can be found in the archive
-and just play around with it and see what settings you like, trial and error is the best medicine
