Title: mAh of a normal 9v battery from the store
Post by: pfife on December 30, 2004, 01:50:29 PM
Hey, quick question - I did search on this, but couldn't find a direct answer - but I found info that led me to believe that a standard Duracell/Enegizer 9v battery was about 160mAh - can anyone confirm this?

Looking to get rechargables, and would like to get some that will last long in my AD-20.

Thanks-
~Andrew

suggests the capacity of a 9v alkaline battery is closer to 500-650 mah

9v rechargeables are in the 160 - 200 mAh range, if memory serves.  I've tried several NiMH options with poor results (though not with an AD-20).  IMO, best bet is to pick up a small, compact, 9.6v RC battery or one of the 9.6v lithium ion batts for portable DVD players.
