If i am not mistaken it only works w/ the 460s w/ the Cx caps and not the CKx caps

EDIT: I think that is just a basic XLR mic cable

thats a regualar xlr cable in that link. 

yeah you won't find anything for the 480's except teh jk labs box

it has male and female xlr ends so there would be no way to mate the capsule with the cable or the cable with the body

Yeah, I should have click on the high resolution pic.....did't see it earlier.  Fozzy, is there an active cable for the 460's from AKG?  Or is it also one of the JK Labs setup?

AKG made actual actives for the 460 bodies, but they're really hard to find. Also, like stated above, they don't work with the regular ck6 capsules. You need ck1x (cardioid), ck3x (hyper), or ck2x (omni).

I ran a pair for about 6 months earlier this year. They're nice, but again, very hard to find. The cables aren't actual "actives" in the truest since, they're just an extension from the caps to the bodies, much like the Neumann AK series. The ck1x caps do sound somewhat different than the normal ck61s. I can send you a show or 2 (ck1x>oade m248>(mod)sbm1) if you wanna hear 'em.
