Unfortunately that isn't true. AKG made a CK4 figure 8 cap for the 450 series. It is extremely rare and therefore expensive. You'd have a much better chance of getting a full set of the active caps than you would at getting one of the CK4s. I don't think you can even find them mentioned on AKGs site even. Anyway, the CK4 will not work with the 460, even with the adapter. I read this on a message board post by JW himself I think. Too bad - a figure 8 cap would own.

I stand corrected. Let me restate by saying, the adaptors will let you run a variety of the 450 series caps w/ 460's as I used the same adaptors to run ck8 guns with my mod 460s for a long time.

.....The adaptors actually go for a decent price as they also allow you to use most of the 450 caps w/ the 460's. I ran ck8 shotguns (best shotgun caps I've ever heard) with these same adaptors on my mod 460's.

that's how I became aware of the adapter...was for the ck8's (still have them  )...never understood why but then didn't really care cause they worked
