Title: iPod Dock Style Low Pro White Boy Boombox Recomendations?
Post by: RobertNC on January 12, 2010, 02:10:26 AM
OK, I want to get one of these portable smaller "boom box" systems that are commonly sold as iPod docks.

I don't iPod, I just want something that sounds good in my small home office, is portable only in size, a wall cord is actually preferred, and can go on the road with me so we can pop a round of cold freshies after a show and rock it straight from the 722 in my typical flea bag hotel room.

A bud has one of these Logitechs:

It meets all my requirements and actually sounds quite good (everything is relative) but the volume controls just flat out suck.  It is either too soft or too loud.

Any other suggestions?

TIA

yup look at the similar priced altec lansing.  much better sounding, better features, remote control, battery and ac powered.  picked up on for my dad for hannukah so he could smoke stogies on the back porch with tunes.  he loves it.
