Topic: used Bose speakers ?

I have seen several Bose speaker pairs listed in classifieds around town in the $50-$100 range for a pair. They are slightly older models 901's, 902's and sound everywhere 4.2's. Just wondering what peoples experiences are with these? I have never heard bose speakers before(Only headphones). Would they be worth the scratch to grab a pair?

not sure but all those models are getting old.  I would be checking the foam for rot and giving them a serious listen too before spending that much on a set of bose.
