Topic: TrekPod Monopod/Tripod/Walking Stick Combination

I just received this stand from B&H Photo. I needed something I could take into a venue easily and run my Church Audio mics at about head height. I'm not big on wearing mics so I bought this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/364037-REG/Trek_Tech_00100_TrekPod_Walking_Stick_Monopod.html. I also seem to have bought the last one of this model (TREK-00100) but they sell others. It seems to be well built and sturdy. The MagMount ball head can be unscrewed leaving a 1/4 X 20 stud exposed but the magnet seems strong enough to hold light weight mics but with a weight limit of 9 pounds its probably good for anything except large diaphragm mics. Its even somewhat air-cushioned.
