wondering what everybody does with thier bodies while taping using the actives?

im thinking il get a pelican 1060 and drill a circular hole on each side to run actives in/ xlrs out

but im thinking the 1060 wont be long enough with the way these actives are setup with the mini xlr on the mic

i wont have them untill UPS delivers today, but wonderign what everyone else uses

i would ultimatly like to have something the bodies can stay in permanantly, as il be using the actives all the time for the time being.

check out the gear protection thread in ask the tapers.  there might be some handy answers there.

i have saw the great idea that skalinder came up with for using film cases lined with bubble wrap to house the caps on the active cables

got my mics today, and im about to measure them to see if they will fit in a small pelican case or not

i can see a custom wood job being in order. its been awhile since ive made anything like this :D

could velcro them to the side of the V3 in your bag.

yeah i could i would just like somethign with a little more protection! i think they are gonna be a touch too long for the pelican idea tho

sent the V3 in for the optical mod today, so i have some extra room in the bag since i lost the AES cable > hosa box > hosa power cable > hosa rc power packs

I always just wrapped my bodies in a towel

i kind of want something permanant, that can hold the bodies safely indefinantly

i would liike to keep the caps on the active cables, and encased in the film canister type deal. just be able to throw the caps ont he kwon bar and throw it up
