Anyone have any experience with these? Picked one up for cheap to drive an old pair of Klipsch, which should be easy to drive. It’s a Fosi Audio brand and touts 50X2. Also has a headphone jack. The headphone out does a pretty good job with my HD 650’s, but that’s not really what I bought if for. The amp itself is absolutely lifeless sounding with the Klipsch. I’m fairly certain the Klipsch aren’t to blame as I tested them with old Yamaha receiver that I believe is also 50X2. My question is are all Class D amps this wimpy?

I bought an $11 chip amp,
most likely two years ago in Aug. 2015. I used it to power a pair of Bozak b302a Urban speakers.
In that same time, I turned off my $3500 Plinius, and, it has stayed off.

After some listening this morning I’m finding the gain is there but the lack of it I perceived last night is actually no bass or very little low end and these are KG2’s with the re firing passive positioned in the corners of the room. It’s like it needs a bass boost.

I have a Topping TP22 that absolutely rocks out a pair of Polk bookshelfs I had at work. It is supposed to kick around 3o watts. Never had it past half. Sounded excellent.. Haven't fired that up in a couple of years...

Have you made sure your properly polarized in your wiring; amp -> speakers?

I’ve been looking at Topping. Those class T’s are nice. The TP22 is no longer made I guess. That would have been perfect with Klipsch.

I use a Topping T-amp for Klipsch KG4's as my pc speaker setup. Bought it several years ago, don't recall the model or the wattage though. Sounds very good for what it is!

I’ve been looking at Topping. Those class T’s are nice. The TP22 is no longer made I guess. That would have been perfect with Klipsch.
I use a Topping TP30 powering Polk bookshelves connected by USB for my computer speakers. I thinks its 15 watts per channel but I get plenty of volume. Sounds great. It also has a headphone jack and RCA inputs which I use for speakers for the TV across from where I sit at the computer. Costs around $100 as I remember.

If you still have this, try a preamp with gain.(Not Passive). I had good success doing this with a t- chip amp. https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-dta-120-class-t-mini-amplifier-60-wpc--300-3800. Without the pre, bass was very lacking. The mids have a hint of 'S.E.T. Amp' sound. Also I would guess its more like 30 watt per channel, it would start clipping/distortion around 2 o'clock on the dial, with 90 & 92 db sensitive speakers. I also tried it with a tube buffer no noticeable difference. I've stopped using it, but it was a fun amp and think it would be fine for near field low listening.

I've got that same amp, and earlier versions of it.These class D amps are very good.I've also measured it on the bench. Frequency response is fine, no noticeable distortion.

its not that they are weak, they just lack damping which can make speakers sound different
