Title: Good stealth video cam with A/V input?
Post by: carlbeck on November 23, 2007, 04:56:58 PM
I am looking for a good camera that I can stealth some shows with but that also has a a/v input so I can run my helmet cam when I snowboard & ride my four wheeler. So I am looking for something smallish with good low light performance as well as image stabilization. Budget is about $500 new or used so I figure Mini-DV. I like what I read about the Panisonic cams but they usually don't have inputs, looks like it has to be a Sony?

Carl I am not up to date with the newest models, but it used to be Panasonics that feature much better connectivity than Sony, please check e.g.: http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Panasonic-PV-GS180-Camcorder-Review/AudioPlaybackConnectivity.htm
