Title: attenuators for board patching

i can get board access sometimes at my local venue.  they serve up a pair of 1/4" outs.  i tried patching once running the 1/4" into my ua-5>jb3 but the levels were waaaay hot with my gain all the way down.

what are my options for attenuating this signal?

depending on what you are running the shure switchable attentuators are a good option, however they have the xlrs on the end to xlrs would have to be in the system.

You can also make your own if your handy like that.  Instructions are on this site somewhere.

Skip the attenuators - your UA5 already has attenuation built into the RCA inputs on the back of the unit.  Instead, get the the appropriate adapters to convert the board feed to RCA.
