The mics: Superlux SMK-H8K with stereo mounting bar

This mic stand: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=30080&item=3844216882&rd=1

I don't know what adaptors I would need for mounting or if this would be a decent combination at all?

The superlux bar comes with a 3/8>5/8 adapter, so if your stand comes with a 3/8 thread, you are good to go. If it's a 1/4, then you need a 1/4>3/8 adapter which your local camera shop will have.

The Superlux kit I got came with a 3/8>5/8 adapter already screwed inside the T-bar - same thing with the shockmounts since the screws on the T-bar are 3/8. So you only need a 1/4>3/8 adapter like the one above - again you can find one at any camera shop. I will say that you will have a hard time getting anything other than DIN on that bar though. You may want to pick up an AKG(K&M) 235 bar that allows you to change the distance between mics. The shure vert bar is another great choice although more expensive.

Maybe I should, but I have no idea what you mean by that.  ???

you can get a spacer to raise one microphone up a bit - that would allow you to get coincident configs;

Besides- DIN owns anyways.

Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.

i think you can get NOS easily, DIN you can kinda get but its not proper DIN - more like point the mics to the outside of the stacks DIN.  XY is barely achievable - you can either do it with some washers and mount both mics on top.  you won't be able to get any windscreens on tho, and the mics will be like a mm apart.  if you take one of the mic holder things out and put it in upside down, you can have one mic on the bottom and one on the top and get xy - but it looks really silly.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.

if you can afford $20 go with the akg/km235 bar. the superlux bar is basically, well, crap.
