This may tread into
territory, so PM if you think it's better.
The gist is that I'm listening back to a show I recorded last fall (since quarantine hit I've just had no motivation to dig into post production) and had it where I wanted it. Then I noticed the fact that you can hear me breathing the entire freaking time. I've been using 4061's for a while, and this was maybe the 4th or 5th time using the 6061's. For this particular show I recall it being a weeknight where I was in a bit of a rush to get to the show, so I just went in mic'd up with them on my collar.
Anyway, I've done a similar configuration countless times & never had that happen (maybe I had a cold or something, who the hell knows). Guessing I was just a bit too sloppy and had the mics too close to my face?
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with sensitive mics / any advice for making sure this doesn't happen again...?
Thanks!
