d00d, do a lil more research then, ummm, load creative disc in, BAM, plug into the comp, creative playcenter should pop up, put one side of the transfer screen on your pc music library, the other side should be the jb3, highlight a song or a set and once you click on it, the transfer buttons in the middle should allow you to transfer

Ya, I would go that route, but as a highschooler, there are other things Id like to spend 20 bucks on... Thanks though for the suggestion. If I every get some cash I might check that out!

I take it the refurbs don't come with the install disc since several people have had this problem.  Unfortunately, the Playcentre software you can download is upgrade only - you need the original install (on the disc you didn't get).

I've had a few people download it from me (ftp)- you're welcome to do the same if you pm me.  It's only about 27 MB zipped.

and then DO download and install the latest updates.  It also put the nomad into Explorer, so you can access it as a drive on your system (I believe the new version of file manager adds this capability).

thats the way i look at it too, a 20% faster d/l isnt that big of a deal, hell, ive never used firewire before and its a dream come true!!!

4 mins for 3 hrs, hell yeah!!!
