problem solved, carry on

Recently Audition keeps freezing up on me. It only happens when I try to edit a file; eq, filter, or compress something.
I was able to downsample and dither though. I'm baffeled as to why this is happening. Any suggestions, or comments
would be greatly appreciated. This is starting to drive me nuts. Thanks and sorry for wastring space

You need to start thinking of any details that are common when you get the freeze, ANYTHING could be relavent....

Are you running Vista or XP?  IT freezes on me on my Vista laptop every time but never on my XP desktop.
