E-MU 0404 Soundcard woes
« on: May 09, 2005, 07:45:37 AM »
Does anyone have one of these running... I've got a quick question.

I'm going optical into the card (from DAT) and I get levels using their 'native software' but don't get any levels from Soundforge or Wavelab (yes I tried changing the input sources) do I have to enable the optical spdif somewhere??

Anyone know??

Hmm...
Turns out that you need to have the DSP software running when you're utilizing the S/PDIF I/O.  Then in the DSP, in the PCI Card S/PDIF L/R column 'right click' on the inserts box and choose 'Output to Physical Out' and it'll work with no prob.

Thanks,
Spott
