AT3035 & AT853, 2 Mono Sources > Stereo
« on: May 15, 2005, 04:05:35 PM »
Ok last week I recorded this band in my high school auditorium with my UA-5, In one channel I ran an AT3035 (i accidently had the 80hz bass rolloff setting on) and in the other channel i ran my old AT853 into a sp battery box then into the UA-5 through one of the rca inputs in the back...The at853s were not phantom powered....I would like to mix both of the sources into one stereo file because the AT853 makes up for the bass that was rolled off on the 3035s and the vocals sound much more crisp and clear on teh 3035s

I have already lined them up in adobe audition and I was messing around with the panning a little bit, I made them each into stereo files (but the channels are the same) and lined them up, panned one to the left 20 and the other to the right 20, here's an mp3 of how it sounds

this is just the AT853 by itself: http://www.zlit.net/upload/rlsample/reallunchsampleat853only.mp3

this is the AT3035 by itself: http://www.zlit.net/upload/rlsample/reallunchsampleat3035only.mp3

I recorded the entire show with the AT3035 but I realized my AT853 was not connected after the first 5 mins, so the first song I only have a recording of the AT3035....I know there are different methods I can make these into stereo but I am not familiar with them...any help would be appreciated
