AT 853 omni comparable to...

How do the omnis sound?I am interested in getting the omni caps but how do they sound compared to other small omnis.

Hrm... you've got the DPA 4061's so many around here will argue that they sound better so I'm not sure why you'd be looking at these (unless you want the flexibility of changing caps).

Im not looking for an upgrade to  the Dpa.I know many people here have used them i was just curios of opinions on them thats all.

I think the DPA's outperform the AT853's, IMHO.  I think a lot of here like the 853's because of the switchable capsules.
