SD MM-1 to Tascam DR-40 How?
« on: August 10, 2012, 12:56:35 AM »
Hello Folks!

I've done a search and scanned thru many headers to posts and have not found how to properly do this.

Attenuator? 40 rating? placed between the MM-1 and DR-40?

Looks to me it will take an XLR to 1/4 into the DR-40, to keep out the DR-40's Preamp...with Line In set on the DR-40.
As above, DR-40's Mic Gain Setting should be set to what setting?

I will be running an AT-897 into the MM-1.

I'm not versed in electronics, so here goes the Title question. So I post the following specs for you.

Many thanks!

Brian Depew
