A-Data Card and HD-P2
« on: June 20, 2008, 02:08:41 PM »
Has anybody gotten the 8 gig A-Data card to record 24/96 in an HD-P@?  I have searched the archives and haven't found any info.  Also has the 8 gig limit been resolved yet?
Thx

The 8 gig limit per card has not yet been resolved.  I've been periodically checking with someone at the Frontier Design Group (who designed the HD-P2 firmware), because the tascam people never return my phone calls nor do they every reply to my emails.  This is the latest, as of June 9, 2008:

Hello Jason,

TASCAM has been keeping us busy trying to finish up a new project, but no changes for the HD-P2 yet. Maybe they'll go back to it when this is finished up soon.

Sorry,
Brian

It certainly doesn't sound too promising, but we'll see...
