did nero know to burn the iso as an image?  or did it just burn the iso as a data file onto the disc?

In Nero, there's a "burn image" command from a menu somewhere (don't have my PC up right now). I'm not sure if he used that, but if not, that would just burn the ISO as a data file.
Out of the game … for now?

Never used express. I've only used the full "Nero Burning ROM" program.

when you put the burned disc in your comp drive, do you see the audio_ts and video_ts folders, or the image?

the burned discs have the audio/video_ts folders in it, and the audio folder contains all the data

I've downloaded the .41win and .42win files and both times there was no create iso button to be found anywhere.  Any ideas?  Am I completely missing something?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Scott,
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to do that.  I can drop flac files in without problems.  It has every button except the 'create iso'.  It also has shows total disc time and size when flac files are dropped in.  If you'll post directions on how to do a screen shot, I'll gladly do it.

Thanks,
Chris

what's below the "total disc time" and "total disc size" and above the table of files?

There's nothing there.  I saw the screen shot from the original post from this thread and saw where the button was supposed to be.  The file menu only has an 'Exit' function.  The help menu only has the 'About DVD-Audiofile' info popup.  Strange.
