Title: Creating Websites: Google Sites

I've started creating a website w/ Google Sites and wondering if anyone who is familiar with building websites can took a look at the page and and answer a few questions?  For one, the recent activity gadget can not delete, it just gives the option for how many posts to display, no option to remove.  Trying to set up a a few pages under 'Home' in the sidebar:
About, Artists, Video...

Still don't know why the recent activity boxes won't delete, but figured some other things out...
