Title: looks like my cammera is gone/recs for replacement

it was a dimage 414. i can replace it for around $160. or for another $80, i could get this one (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1005648&NoMapp=1).  i liked the minolta and it was a confortable size for me. the fuji is 1/2 the weight, but don't know how to comare the size. being 1/2 the weight and only taking 1/2 the batts, i'm guessing it's about 1/2 the size? i'd like to stay in this price range. any opinions would be aprieciated.

I got a Nikon N80 SLR and a Canon A80 digital.  I love both of them.  Did you ever replace you camera?

no not yet, kinda hoping i might get it back some how.  :-\  dought i'll get it back but moneys a little tight right now. i don't know much about cameras except when i got the minolta it was a higher end deal, not so anymore. once i figured out how to take smaller pics it was grate. wish i had it last night though. need another one, but not sure if my clumsy fingers could work something as small as the newer ones seem to be. i'll check out the ones you mentioned. thanks.
