Title: BitTorrent .vcd question...

I am downloading a .vcd file and its currently at 293% how is this possible?  ???

vcd is not really a file extension or type....it is a video compact disc. It should be a .mpg file you are downloading. I don't know about the 293% bit but I would suggest closing the download, checking the file to see if it passes the md5, then restarting the download if it doesn't check out.

it is an mpg but it was labeled vcd but I opened and its all there so I stopped it but im curious as to why it was at 293% never seen that before

Hmmm...  I've never heard of a BT going that high...

But I have read that if it goes over 100% one possible reason is re-downloading bad chunks of data....

I would disconnect and re-connect...  And/or reboot, that never hurts...
